Huetiful Hair Steamer Demo & First impressions
In this blog, I demo the +Huetiful Hair Steamer. Share my first impressions of this hair tool at the end. Have you seen the video yet?
First, let me say how excited I was to see my Huetiful Hair Steamer arrive on my actual birthday! Yay! Been wanting to add this baby to my arsenal of hair tools for a year now. After watching tons of positive reviews while stalking there social media pages for updates I finally took the plunge to invest in this particular steamer brand. Why? The Heutiful hair steamer has made big waves in the natural hair community around the world. Not to mention its minority owned from the good ol USA! Now, let's get started with the demo!
As usual I began with a pre poo using almond oil. To help me manage the process I sectioned my hair into 8 sections. Used butterfly clips to hold each section in place. Then sprayed a little aloe Vera juice before applying almond oil to hair.
Next, I used the Bel Nouvo Avocado & Shea as my deep conditioner. Gently apply conditioner to each section of hair then twist. Used bobby pins to pin each section towards crown of my head to make sure steam could reach the oldest parts of my hair.
Next, after pouring water into the water reservoir I turned the steam and nano buttons on. Waited less than 2 minutes for steam to start coming then get under hood of steamer
After about 20 minutes the steamer stops. My hair feels super soft.
Next, I wash the conditioner out. During the rinse process I can feel a big difference in my scalp and hair. My strands are so moisturized I can literally feel the moisture. Not greasy but silky soft moisture. My pores must still be open because the rinse process also feels different on my scalp. It dies not tingle, burn or hurt but there is a distinct difference. Then I fine back in camera to give my first impressions.

Greenhouse Effect Challenge | #LetsGrowGHE ~ Week 4 of 12
The Greenhouse Effect hair challenge started by +Michelle Howard over at RadiantBrownBeauty.com has been a blessing on my natural hair journey. Watch me share how week 4 of 12 went by clicking below:
This is a very beautiful place high up amongst the Napa Valley Mountains overlooking the vineyards. The creek I love to listen to has dried up. Much of the vegetation is changing as we move from fall into the winter season. It is still very peaceful above these vineyards. My camera started acting up and eventually died on me. These shots do not seem to give the beauty of this place justice. Anyhow, here are some of the pictures taken along my hike amongst nature.
